Conclusions
We learn from thinking about the above and studying many examples,
that there are three kinds of codes:
a) Some codes are
statistical miracles and, taken together, they prove the entire
phenomenon. We have seen these collections of codes only in Torah,
never in any of our comparison texts.
b) Many ELS arrangements are not codes at all, because they are quite
ordinary and expected: something similar can be found in any text. The
critics find these counterfeit codes in books like Moby Dick and War and
Peace to attempt to disprove the whole phenomenon. But for discerning
readers, it can be seen that this "disproof" does not in any way explain
away the miraculous codes found only in the Torah.
c) Most ELS arrangements are in a large, grey area, unmeasurable, and their
status as true codes can not be determined.
Because of (c), there are very few legitimate new things we can learn
from codes, other than implications about the codes' Author, stated
above. But those implications can be somewhat revolutionary, depending
on a person's prior outlook.
