Simple Tests for Identifying Mickey Mouse Codes
There are some simple tests that can help identify the more obvious Mickey
Mouse cases - we can
look at skip distances and/or at close "meetings" of words.
Looking again at the Mickey Mouse table:

We see at the bottom that its ELS's have skip distances that are
ranked 33, 9 and 48 for Mickey, Mouse and President, respectively.
This means that there are 32 other ELS's for Mickey in the book of
Genesis with smaller skip than the one in our table; 8 ELS's of Mouse
with smaller skip than our Mouse, and 47 shorter ELS's for President.
So we can think of it as 33 (or more) Mickey's "running" around in the
text, and 48 (or more) Presidents. Many of the Mickey's are going to
"meet" many of the Presidents in the same table - it's almost
unavoidable. And in many of those cases, one of the 9 Mouse's will be
there close by to "witness" it.
In contrast, from one of the twin towers tables:

We see the ranks of Twin, Towers, and plane are 1, 2 and 2
respectively, in the book of Numbers (actually "twin" ranks first in
the entire Torah). So we have 1 Twin which must
meet up with one of only two Towers at the same spot where 1 of only
2 planes is "flying" around in the text. Slightly more involved - but also
more significant - is the other
twin towers example shown again here:

The skip is much larger (3805, vs 36 for the airplane example), but
the closeness of the meetings of the words actually far outweighs this and
is highly
significant: the closest meeting
in the entire Torah of "bin Laden" and
"terror attack" (the most frequently cited words in Twin Towers related
articles in the weeks following 9/11, in the online Hebrew news, "Haaretz")
just happens to be
in the same picture with one of the 3 best meetings in
the Torah of "twin" with "towers".
Together, these two twin tower
results are significant on the order of 1 in 100,000 or much more.
Sometimes these simple tests of skip distance ranks and/or close meetings
are not enough to
distinguish the Mickey Mouse from the interesting cases.
For example, long phrases found via proper protocols - over a dozen
letters typically (such as the "cursed is bin Laden" phrase) - far outweigh
considerations of skip distance.
More extensive methods are covered later.
