This is the third example of a noun followed by the name of G-d.
The phrase chosen from the plain text was "camp of G-d". The ELS for
this phrase contains camp (in red), G-d (in blue), and an extension (in
green) meaning "illuminates". There is only one occurrence of the ELS -
even without the extension - in all of Torah. It crosses Exodus 14:20,
referring to
the angel of G-d, or pillar of cloud, from the previous verse: "It came
between the Egyptian camp and the Israelite camp; and the pillar of cloud
illuminated the night". In the verse, both occurrences of camp are again
highlighted in red and both Israelite and Egyptian are highlighted in blue.
A 12-letter ELS (including extension) is very impressive, and again crosses
the verse at a very appropriate point - where the text refers to the
night being illuminated.
